Water is symbolic of the planet Earth; the source of fertility and the fountain of life. Since 2014, I noticed that water is featured more and more in my work. I love the freedom; the movement; the fluidity and translucence of water. Lines of different colours, thicknesses and opacity mimics the flow of water and displays the qualities that I aim to incorporate into my work. The mysteries 'visible' in water is made possible by light.
